![]() Who Is The Pyrate Man? Steve "The Black Fox" Kimball has been an entertainer since the young age of 16, when he was touted as the "youngest professional traveling Disk Jockey in Baltimore." As an emcee, host, and public speaker, he was called on time and time again to voice his infectious humor to crowds from 50 to 500. He later found himself on the air internationally, serving his country as a U.S. Navy Journalist, broadcasting on AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio & Television Service). Having the opportunity to entertain his shipmates and the troops in harms way was his reward for 10 years of service.
Now in his mid 40s, The Pyrate Man continues to use his sardonic wit to bring smiles to every face within earshot. Since 2000, this pyrate has been seen at numerous U.S. East Coast Renaissance Festivals and Faires and in 2007 his sphere of influence has taken in several major pyrate events.Recently, he's entertained on the streets of Baltimore at Fells Point Pyrate Invasions (2005-2007), the most recent Hampton Blackbeard Festival (upon which he's been an "associate member" of the famous "Blackbeard's Crew") and thrust himself upon the crowds of the Norfolk Tall Sail Challenge. The Norfolk Tall Sail Challenge was a unique opportunity for The Pyrate Man to give several street performances, work the pyrate pubhouse, and pose for hundreds of photos with children and adults alike. The Pyrate Man also happens to be the publisher of North America's premiere pyrate magazine, The Pyrates Way. |
